DANNY FISHER
Hello! My name is Danny Fisher, and I'm thrilled to be your guide on your journey of playing piano by ear! Before you decide to join the course, let me tell you a bit about who I am, how I teach, and what to expect with this course.
I've been playing the piano for over 18 years and teaching and performing for the last 8, both solo and with multiple bands. Thanks to my simple song tutorials, I’ve attracted over 250,000 followers on social media over the past few years. Music is absolutely my favorite way to express myself and share my creativity!
Like many of you, I was forced into typical piano lessons as a kid. I hated them and nearly quit after a year. Everything changed when I heard Gary Jules’ “Mad World” played by a friend. I was mesmerized and decided to teach myself the song through YouTube. It took weeks and didn’t sound great at first, but I learned more on my own than I ever did in traditional lessons.
Playing songs I loved made a huge difference. I started developing an ear for music, learning to translate songs to piano with trial and error. I kept wondering, “Why is no one teaching piano this way?!” So, I created a course to help others develop these skills quickly and have as much fun as I do!
